Sequel to lock-out declared by CMS Info Systems-No cash in ATMs

Hyderabad: ATM users in the city had to face tough time as over 1,500 ATMs displayed no cash boards following lock-out declared by CMS Info Systems, which loads cash in the ATMs.

The employees of the CMS have been on strike for three days demanding bonus for Diwali. The company has been holding talks with the employees but failed to arrive at an agreement and declared lock out. There are about 700 employees working with the company who are vested with the responsibility of loading cash in the ATMs. The company is also said to have held talks with the Labour Department but could not find a viable solution to the problem.

This has led to serious problems for the ATM users in various parts of the city and people had to go back without being able to draw the money. The CMS has many public sector and private sector banks as its clients. These banks include SBI, ING Vysya, HDFC, ICICI and corporation banks.
